DN Tanks is driven to keep the world’s most precious resource safe. Ultimately, this work flows beyond water itself as we contribute to another invaluable resource – community.

Our commitments

We know that things work best when everyone pitches in. That’s why we repay our good fortune with a commitment to giving back and building community. We “contribute forward” in a number of focused ways – from sponsoring scholarships to financially supporting local non-profit organizations to enabling employees to volunteer their time and talents.

DN Tanks is more than a company; it’s a community. That’s how we think of our connection to each other, and the obligations and benefits that come along with it. To help strengthen community, we focus on three key areas: Scholarships, The DN Tanks Foundation, and Volunteering.

Scholarships

We don't just build tanks.

At DN Tanks, we don’t just build tanks, we build careers. That often starts with our long-running co-op and internship programs, which offer in-depth engagement in Construction, Engineering, Estimating, Finance, etc. Students from colleges and universities throughout the country can take advantage of our long-standing and respected perspective on the industry.

In addition to this on-the-job training, we offer additional support to promising young professionals with a number of scholarships. These programs not only help new professionals, they enrich our company. Approximately 20% of DN Tanks’ office employees are former students who began their working careers as co-ops and interns here.

The DN Tanks Foundation

Another way we help build community is through the DN Tanks Foundation. The organization enables us to make meaningful impacts on underserved people and communities in the areas around our regional offices, in communities where our Superintendents and Traveling Tank Builders live, and in the locales where we have construction projects.

The foundation also enables us to support organizations that sustain our company’s vision – to keep the world’s most precious resource safe. Through the foundation, we award donations to non-profit organizations. It’s an important way we’re using our resources to ensure that we build for the future alongside our neighbors, clients and partners.

Volunteering

Building community is something that happens in many ways and at many levels, from company-wide to individually and in teams. That’s especially true when it comes to volunteering. Our employees are active in our communities, giving of their time and talent to the causes and initiatives that matter to them. As a company, we support these efforts to strengthen the shared communities where we live and work.
