DN Tanks, a worldwide leader in the design and construction of prestressed concrete tanks, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors. The four members join the current DN Tanks Board of Directors, Bill Crowley, Charlie Crowley and Bill Hendrickson.
Executive Chairman, DN Tanks, Inc.
Mr. Inman has an extensive career in technology leadership roles, supplemented by strong strategic growth and board experiences. Prior to its acquisition by OpenText in 2017, Mr. Inman served as President and CEO since 2014, and from 2014 to 2016 as Chairman, of Covisint Corporation, a leading provider of Cloud and IOT technology to Fortune 500 Enterprises. From 2008 to 2011, he was President and CEO of Comarco Wireless Technologies, a California-based provider of innovative mobile power and test solutions. Mr. Inman has also served as Executive Chairman of Think Outside; Co-CEO and Chairman for Viking Components, Inc.; CEO and President of Centura Software Corporation; President and COO of Ingram Micro and President of the IBM PC Company, Americas.

Mr. Michael R. Azarela, also known as Mike, serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. Suffolk is a $3B construction company with offices in Boston, New York, Dallas, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as four offices in Florida. Mike is responsible for managing Suffolk’s day-to-day financial, administrative, risk management, information technology and data analytics functions on a national basis. He serves on Suffolk’s Executive Committee, which is responsible for establishing Suffolk’s strategic direction and financial goals. Mike has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and is a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a BS in accounting at Northern Illinois University and earned his MBA in finance at Iona College. Mike lives in Boston with his wife, Janis. They are the parents of three children, all of whom are competitive lacrosse players. Mike and Janis rarely miss a game! Mr. Stephen J. Hickox, also known as Steve, recently retired as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at CDM Smith Inc. Steve worked at CDM Smith for more than forty years helping public-sector clients solve the financial, technical and regulatory challenges of complex environment & infrastructure projects. During his five years as the Chairman and CEO, he led a major reorganization to align the company better with its markets, simplify and streamline structure and increase financial performance. Steve also led a successful $50M strategic acquisition to grow the firm’s design-build industrial market. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College and an MS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. Steve and his wife, Donna, live in Boston and enjoy a summer home on the shore of Buzzards Bay in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. They are the proud parents of three daughters and six grandchildren. We welcome Steve and look forward to his valuable input as a member of the DN Tanks Board of Directors.

Mr. Hugh L. Rice currently serves as Senior Chairman of both FMI Corporation and FMI Capital Advisors, Inc. FMI is the largest provider in the country of management consulting and investment banking services to the engineering and construction industries. Hugh joined FMI in 1972 and he has spent 45 years at FMI functioning in various roles, including Chief Executive Officer and Chairman from 2002-2011. He created the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group, which has completed more than 750 construction-industry acquisitions since its inception in 1985. His major consulting activities include stock valuations, ownership transition planning, merger/acquisition advice, and strategy development and capital services. Over the past 25 years, FMI and Hugh have worked with DN Tanks, DYK and Natgun, providing both consulting and investment banking services. Hugh holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hugh and his wife, Mary, have six children and eight grandchildren, most of whom live in Denver and occupy a good portion of their time. We welcome Hugh to DN Tanks and look forward to his valuable contributions to the DN Tanks Board of Directors.
